Great article at Gizmodo about Cheap Booz and Hangovers. I’ve always wanted to put a sticker on Wreckless Blenders wine that says, “Headache Free.” Of course, that infers that someone doesn’t drink several bottles.

Grapes to Raisins in 30 Seconds
Having watched my father put together several time-lapse videos, I can appreciate the amount of work it took filmmaker James Knott to produce this 30 second video of grapes turning into raisins…
Now, if I could figure out how to accelerate the process of turning our wine at the same speed, I’d be set.
The making of wine in motion graphics
This is a fairly interesting video of the wine making process.
Of course, being one of the wine makers at Wreckless Blenders, I see several missing steps, such as pressing, racking, and blending. I also note that there is a step for filtration in the video and we don’t normally filter our wines.
We make only red wines and I notice that the video has an excellent set of red grapes, including Barbera, Sangiovese, and Malbec, among others. Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, and Breakfast Blend are missing. Heh. A Breakfast Blend grape. That would be excellent. Really would add meaning to its tagline of ‘Not just for breakfast anymore.’
